The SYSTEM LED shows the status of the switch (system). |

Off (dark) |
Switch is not powered on. |

Solid green |
Switch is operating normally. |

Blinking green |
Switch is running power-on self-test (POST). |
|
Solid amber |
Switch is faulty, is rebooting, or is in recovery. |
|
Blinking amber |
A fault exists with one of the following:
- Network module (non-traffic-related)
- Power supply
- Fan module
|
RPS |
The RPS LED shows the status of a connected redundant power system
(RPS). This LED is available on switches that support an RPS. |
|
|
Off (dark) |
RPS is off or is not properly connected. |
|
Solid green |
RPS is connected and is ready to provide back-up power. |
|
Blinking green |
RPS is connected but is unavailable because it is providing power to another device. |
|
Solid amber |
RPS is in standby mode or is in a fault condition. |
|
Blinking amber |
Switch internal power supply has failed, and the RPS is providing power to the switch. |
AC OK |
The AC OK LED shows the status of an installed power supply module. This LED does not appear on the Front Panel view for the Catalyst 3750-X switches. This LED is available on switches that support internal power supply modules. |

Solid green |
Power supply module is installed. |
PS OK |
The PS OK LED shows the status of the power from the installed power supply module. This LED does not appear on the Front Panel view for the Catalyst 3750-X switches. This LED is available on switches that support internal power supply modules. |

Off (dark) |
No power from the installed power supply module. |
|
Solid green |
Power from either the installed power supply module or PoE port is good. |
|
Solid amber |
Power from either the installed power supply module or PoE port is faulty. |
S-PWR |
The S-PWR LED shows the StackPower status. This LED is available on the Catalyst 3750-X switches. |

Off (dark) |
StackPower cable is not connected or the switch is a standalone switch. |
|
Solid green |
StackPower cable is connected to an XPS-2200 or to another Catalyst 3750-X switch. |
|
Blinking green |
StackPower cable is connected to an XPS-2200, but is unavailable because the XPS-2200 is providing power to another device.
|
|
Solid amber |
StackPower cable is in standby mode or is in a fault condition.
|
|
Blinking amber |
Switch internal power supply has failed, and the StackPower cable is providing power to the switch.
|
XPS |
The XPS LED shows the status of a connected Expandable Power System (XPS), such as an XPS-2200. This LED is available on the Catalyst 3750-X switches. |

|
Off (dark) |
XPS is not connected or is not properly connected. |
|
Solid green |
XPS is connected and is ready to provide back-up power. |
|
Blinking green |
XPS is connected but is unavailable because it is providing power to another device. |
|
Solid amber |
XPS is in standby mode or is in a fault condition. |
|
Blinking amber |
Switch internal power supply has failed, and the XPS is providing power to the switch. |
STATUS |
The STATUS LED shows that the port LEDs are in status mode. This is
the default mode. |

The port LEDs are not showing port status. |
|
Solid green |
The port LEDs are showing port status. |
DUPLEX |
The DUPLEX LED shows that the port LEDs are in duplex mode. |
|
|
Off (dark) |
The port LEDs are not showing the port duplex mode. |

Solid green |
The port LEDs are showing the port duplex mode. |
SPEED |
The SPEED LED shows that the port LEDs are in speed mode. |

Off (dark) |
The port LEDs are not showing the port speed. |

The port LEDs are showing the port speed. |
MASTER |
The MASTER LED shows the status of the stack master. This LED is on only if the switch is the stack master or is a standalone switch. |

Solid green |
Switch is the stack master or a standalone switch. |
|
Solid amber |
An error occurred when the switch was selecting the stack master switch or a stack error. |
STACK |
This STACK LED shows that the port LEDs are in stack mode. |

The port LEDs are not showing stack member status. |
|
Solid green |
The port LEDs are showing stack member status. |
PoE |
The PoE LED shows that the port LEDs are in PoE mode. This LED is available on switches that have PoE ports. |

PoE to the ports is off. |
|
Solid green |
One or more ports is receiving PoE. |
|
Blinking amber |
One or more ports is not receiving PoE because of a fault. |
EN |
The EN LED shows the status of the Ethernet Management (Fa0) port. |

Off (dark) |
No link is present on the port. |
|
Solid green |
Link is present between the port and the management station. |
|
CONSOLE |
The CONSOLE LED shows the port status of the USB-B console port. This port is available on the 3750-X switches. |

In this mode, the port LEDs show port status, port duplex mode, port speed, PoE status, and stack status.
By default, the port LEDs show port status. To display the port duplex mode and the port speed from the port LEDs, you must use the View list from the device manager or the Mode button on the physical switch. |
