Description:

The following issues are addressed:

1. SSM intermittently logs false LAN 3 related warnings in Application Event 
   log.
   Lan 3 related warnings will be of the following form,
   
  "(Event ID: 2005): Bytes Sent/sec LAN3 Recovered  
   (Event ID: 2005): Bytes Received/sec LAN3 Recovered  
   (Event ID: 1013): 8,Bytes Sent/sec greater than 50% of LAN3 speed  
   (Event ID: 1013): 8,Bytes Received/sec greater than 50% of LAN3 speed"  

   This can be verified by either examining SNMP trap monitor or Event Viewer.

2. BIOS version information stored in System inventory and registry of BCM 200/400 does not necessarily reflect the real BIOS version. System inventory file is stored under 
"F:\Program Files\Nortel Networks\VoicePlatform\wwwroot\inventory.xml". 
   BIOS version is stored in the registry under
"Software\Nortel Networks\Platform Services\BIOS Version". 
 
   Actual BIOS version can be verified by rebooting to CMOS and looking in 
   "Advanced version information" under "Advanced" Tab.

3. SSM intermittently logs Event id 3005 alarms in the Application Event log.
   Windows was not able to create a thread required for the SSM to 
   perform sanity checking while initializing the SSM. The SSM.exe fix for 3005 
   application event failures is to terminate the SSM service immediately after 
   event 3005 and let the ServiceMon restart SSM.
