Step 4 - Apply Patch
*** Important: You must exit the Unified Manager before proceeding with applying the patch. ***
To apply the patch, please follow this process:
- Click the "Apply Patch Now" button. The patch progress is also reported back in the bottom frame. If a subcomponent fails to be installed or patched, a dialog box will be launched from the wizard. You may be forced to restart the BCM and re-apply the Patch. If this occurs repeatedly, please call for technical assistance.
- Once the patch completes, scan the logfile for any anomalies, and also scan the monitor frame at the bottom of the browser. The last line should contain the words "Application of patch ... completed". If there is a timeout, the log will not automatically open. It can be opened by pressing the "View Log" button.
