Record Call (Feature 989)

Subscribers can use Record Call (Feature 989) to record a telephone call.
The message is left in the subscriber’s mailbox.

 

During a call, a subscriber can press Feature 989 to activate the Record Call feature.
All parties hear an announcement that the call is being recorded, followed by a beep.

 

Access to Record Call is controlled by the Class of Service.
Record Call is prohibited in some areas, so this feature is normally disabled for all Classes of Service.
Before you enable Record Call, find out if it can be legally used in your location.
