Example of a path name

When you add a backup device that represents disk space, you must enter the path.

For remote disk directories, enter the universal naming convention path.

For example:

\\SERVER1\BACKUPDATA, where

• SERVER1 is the computer name of the destination remote file server

• BACKUPDATA is the share name
