Configure the telephone number that must be used by the local server to reach a remote server. This telephone number is called the connection DN.
You can configure up to three connection DNs: one is mandatory and the other two are optional. They should be defined in order from the least expensive to the most expensive connections. For example, if the connection is long distance, DN 1 can be a private telephone number and DN 3 can be a public telephone number.
The mandatory DN (DN1) should be the same as the networking service DN (SDN) that is defined in the SDN table on the remote server. CallPilot always uses DN1 first. If problems are encountered, CallPilot uses the next connection DN (DN2 or DN3).
Do the following:
Contact the network administrator at the remote site to determine the connection DN.
Configure each connection DN in a format that
is dialable from the local server.
For example, if the networking SDN is defined as 7050
in the SDN table on the remote server, and the location prefix is 6444, specify the connection DN as 64447050.
