Enterprise Networking uses passwords to send messages securely. When a message is sent from one server to another, both servers exchange passwords—an initiating password and a responding password. Both passwords must match before the message is sent.
Contact the network administrator for each remote server in the messaging network and agree on the passwords that will be used. The passwords defined in your network database for exchanging messages with a particular remote server must correspond to the passwords in that remote server’s network database.

In the Initiating Password box, type the password that will be sent by the calling server to the receiving server to begin the transmission of a message. This password must match the initiating password in the remote site's network database. The password must be from 4 to 10 characters in length.
In the Responding Password box, type the password that must be sent by the receiving server to the calling server after the initiating passwords have been checked. This password must match the responding password in the remote site's network database. The password must be from 4 to 10 characters in length.
