Prompt archives

To define and schedule a prompt archive

Define at least one prompt archive for each language installed on your CallPilot server. Back up prompt information to these archives each time prompts are updated.

When new custom prompts are created, they are not automatically added to existing prompt archives. You must use the procedure in this topic to redefine the prompt archive in which the new prompt belongs.

System > Backup/Restore

1. In the Select a task list, click Review and schedule backups.

2. Click the Add Backup button.

3. Follow these steps, clicking the Next button as necessary:

1. In the Device Name list, click a predefined backup destination device.
   If the destination device you need is not listed, add it to the Device Name list.

2. In the Backup Type list, click Prompt Archive.

3. From the list of custom applications, select the ones you want to include in the archive.

4. Select the Backup Frequency (One time only, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly). Add any scheduling information that is requested.

5. Select the Specific Date and Time, using the 24-hour clock.

6. Add the Description that you want to show in the Backup Browser list.

4. Confirm the archive definition and click the Finish button.

You cannot selectively restore customized prompts from a prompt archive.
