Adding and deleting inbound SDNs

To make a custom application available to mailbox owners or callers, add the controlled DN or phantom DN configured on the switch for this service to the CallPilot SDN Table.

When a custom application becomes obsolete, delete the SDN.

Note/Tip You can use CallPilot Manager to re-assign applications to CDNs any time after you complete the Configuration Wizard.

Note/Tip You cannot add or delete an outbound SDN. These are added to the SDN Table when you install CallPilot.

To add an inbound SDN to the SDN table

System > Service Directory Number

  1. Click the New button.

  2. In the Service DN box, type the CDN or phantom DN you want to assign to the service or application (for example, a front-end voice menu).

  3. In the Application Name list, click the feature or voice menu that you want to enable.

  4. In the Media Type list, click the one that is appropriate for this service.
Note/Tip You must allocate a fax channel for custom applications that require both voice and fax capability.

  5. Either continue to configure the SDN or click Save.
