Number to dial out of the switch to place local, long distance, international, and ESN calls using either the public network, the ESN network, or a combination of both.

To access a private ESN network, you typically dial 6 plus the digits needed to make a national call to the same local site. For example, the area/city code of Manhattan is 212 and the long distance prefix is 1, so the full dialing prefix is 61212.
