This package contains the MegaRAID PowerConsole version 5.00n as a self extracting file and an automated setup routine.

Prerequisites

======================================================================================================================================

- This package only applies to the following servers running CallPilot 3.0 (Windows 2003 based only) or later versions: 703t, 1002rp, 1005r and equipped with
the following LSI controllers: LSI1600, LSI320-1, LSI320-2
- Existing version of MegaRAID PowerConsole (5.00i) must be un-installed prior to attempting this installation.

Update Instructions

======================================================================================================================================


1. Download the MegaRaid Power Console 5.00n-4 Update package from the Avaya Support website

2. Place the auto-extractable file onto the D:\Temp directory on your CallPilot server

3. Open Power Console utility following Start/Programs/Power Console Plus/Launch Client.

6. Verify the Power Console version by looking at the Help/About. If the version shown is already 5.00n, jump to step 10. Close Power Console application.

7. Un-install Power Console 5.00i:
 
- Go to Control Panel Add/Remove programs. 
- Remove Power Console Package.
- Press Add/remove
- Select "Yes" wen asked to confirm to un-install
- The system may ask to delete unused files(in which case select "yes to all") or otherwise it will complete the un-installation.
- Close Add/Remove Programs applet.

8. Double Click on the PC500N4.EXE file. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the package installation.

9. The system will ask for a reboot for installation to coplete. REBOOT

10. Open Power Console utility following Start/Programs/Power Console Plus/Launch Client and Verify the version by looking at the Help/About. the version should now be 5.00n
Upgrade is complete.

Known Issues

======================================================================================================================================


Older systems equipped with LSI1600 controller cannot perform a physical drive rebuild within Power Console 5.00N. The workaorund is to reboot the system and 
execute the rebuild from the RAID BIOS (CTRL+M utility) or migrate to an LSI320 adapter.

Bug Fixes(Since version 5.00i):


5.00n-4:

1. Previous version had improper package version displayed during installation.  It was showing 5.00O-3 and is now
correctly displaying 5.00N-4.  Only installation package is renamed.  PCP component stays the same as previous release.

5.00n:

1.	Registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LSI Logic corporation\Power Console Plus Package\SNMP Agent is reverted back to HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ami

2.	Fixed SNMP agent is not loading under Windows 64-bit system(RC2)

3.	Registry key under KKEYLOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE now says LSI Logic Corporation 

4.	Changed registry path for SNMP from"SOFTWARE\LSI Logic Corporation\Power Console Plus Package\SNMP Agent to  "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ami"

5.00L:

1.	Option for regserv.dat is present during install

2.	Logical drive index is zero in the message informing the user that random delete failed. It should be ‘1’ based

3.	Hotspare index was zero based in the wizard. It should be ‘1’ based	

4.	PC+ not showing the regserv.dat file and not connecting directly over the network

5.	SNMP error in event viewer after uninstall

6.	Regserver cannot be uninstalled by silent uninstall
