Installing the PEP: ====================== This PEP is intended to be installed on CallPilot 5.0 (build 05.00.41.20) servers. Warning: -------- This PEP can be installed on CallPilot 202, 600 and 1005r platforms only. Note: ----- When this PEP is installed or uninstalled with the drive attached, or at the first time the drive is plugged in after the PEP is installed, the cartridge may be ejected from the drive. High Availability (HA) Systems ------------------------------ Before installing this PEP on HA system make sure that EMC AutoStart hotfix A_EAS522_WIN_HF_53320 is applied first. The hotfix and installation instructions are available in Callpilot PEP EMC_Hotfix. To verify that EMC AutoStart hotfix A_EAS522_WIN_HF_53320 is installed, do the following steps: 1. Login to the first CallPilot server in the H/A pair. 2. Go to C:\WINSOWS\system32\drivers directory. 3. Check if file named VincaMv.sys.A_HF_52_53320 exists. 4. If it does, than EMS AutoStart hotfix A_EAS522_WIN_HF_53320 is installed. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 on the second CallPilot server in the H/A pair. To install this PEP on HA system please follow the procedure for installing PEPs described in the document NN44200-311 "High Availability: Installation and Configuration", section "Install PEPs". In order to install the PEP: ---------------------------- - Launch the CPDRVPEP002S.msi to start the installation of the PEP. - A reboot is not required. Uninstall: ---------- - Go to Start>Programs>CallPilot>System Utilities>PEP Maintenance Utility. Click Show PEPs. Select CPDRVPEP002S, and click Remove. - Reboot is not required after uninstall.
