In order to install the SU: If you are installing on a CallPilot Server: Installing PEPs: 1. Launch the runme.exe to start the installation of the service update. The runme execuatable can be found in the root directory of the PEP CD. If you have downloaded the SU from the web it will be in the \CP20126SU1 directory. 2. When the "PEPs to install" dialog is displayed, click on the select all button, and then click on the Next button to continue. Note: The number of PEPs displayed may differ between different servers depending on the PEPs that are already installed on the server. 3. The "Nortel System Operations" dialog is displayed. This dialog lists all of the PEPs that will be installed and uninstalled depending on the PEPs installed on the system and those selected to be installed. Click on the Yes button to continue with the PEP installation. Note: During the PEP installation services are started and stopped some related dialogs may appear on the screen this is normal. 4. When the operation is complete the "Nortel System Operations" window will be displayed with the results of the operations for each PEP. Click on the OK button to continue. 5. You may be prompted that a reboot of the server is required. If you are installing for the 1st time and have not upgraded the CallPilot Manager software yet, select NO, and proceed with step 1 of upgrading the Callpilot Manager software. If you are just installing addtional PEPs select Yes to reboot the server. Upgrading the CallPilot Manager Software: 1. Execute the cpmgrsetup.exe executable which is located in the \CP20126G023C\CallPilotManagerInstall directory to start the upgrade process. 2. Follow the prompts until the upgrade is complete. 3. If this is the first time installing the Service update continue with step 1 of Installing the Operating System Updates Installing the Operating System Updates: 1. Make sure you are logged in as an administrator (account Administrator or NGenSys or NGenDist). 2. Execute file os2su1.exe (in the \CP20126SU01\CP20126G026S directory) to unzip the needed files to D:\TEMP\os2su1 folder. 3. Run batch file D:\TEMP\os2su1\RUNME.BAT 4. When PEP install is complete, when prompted, click OK to reboot. 5. After reboot, login and delete the following folders to remove temporary files: D:\TEMP\os2su1 D:\TEMP\CP20126SU01 6. Empty the recycle bin to complete the cleanup of any temporary files. Installing the Application Builder Update: 1. Execute the appbuilder.exe executable, which is located in the \CP20126G018A directory, to install the updated version of the application builder. Uninstalling PEPs: Go to Start>Programs>CallPilot>System Utilities>PEP Maintenance Utility. Click Show PEPs. Select all of the PEPs you want to uninstall, and click Remove.
