Problem Description: ======================= A potential problem has been identified within the IMAP service that, if experienced, may result in wrong behavior of IMAP clients or in crash of IMAP service on CallPilot Server. Using MS Outlook as an IMAP client, connect to a CallPilot mailbox and open an existing message. Once opened, change the subject of the message and click the close box. When prompted to save changes, press the "Save" button. The original message is crossed out (marked for deletion) and a new message appears. However, when the IMAP client is closed / reopened, the new message is removed. Sometimes all desktop / internet mail clients IMAP connections are dropped, indicating that the IMAP server has crashed. 3. Installing the PEP: ====================== This PEP is intended to be installed on CallPilot 2.02 (2.01.27.05) servers that were installed with or upgraded to Service Update 5 (CP20127SU05S). In order to install the PEP: ---------------------------- - Launch the runme.exe to start the installation of the PEP. The runme executable can be found in the PEP's root directory. - A reboot is not required before the server can be brought back into service. Uninstall: ---------- Go to Start>Programs>CallPilot>System Utilities>PEP Maintenance Utility. Click Show PEPs. Select CP202S05G14S, and click Remove. Reboot is not required after uninstall.
