PEP Number: CP202S03G14C CallPilot Manager version 02.01.27.18 Description: -------------- This PEP contains several fixes and enhancements for CallPilot Manager. For a detailed list, please see the List of Fixes and Enhancements section at the end of the readme file. Installing the PEP: ---------------------- Please read this section in its entirety before proceeding. PEP CP202S03G14C contains version 02.01.27.18 of CallPilot Manager. This version is designed to and operates best with CallPilot Server version CP2.02 SU03 (CP20127SU03S). Note 1: CallPilot Manager version 02.01.27.18 obsoletes all previous versions of CallPilot Manager. This version incorporates all fixes/enhancements of previous version as well as provides additional fixes/enhancements. Note 2: PEP CP20127SU03S: CallPilot Manager version 02.01.27.18 may not behave correctly with earlier versions of the CallPilot Server software (pre CallPilot 2.02 SU03). It is recommended that PEP CP20127SU03S be installed on the CallPilot Server during the same maintenance window as PEP CP202S03G14C is installed on either the CallPilot server or the standalone Web Server. Note 3: While installing PEP CP202S03G14C on a CallPilot Server, ignore any system warnings during the installation procedure. Instructions for installing on the CallPilot Server: ----------------------------------------------------------- 1. From the CallPilot Server, disconnect all browsers currently connected to CallPilot Manager. 2. Run the IISPREPARE.BAT batch file included in the PEP CP202S03G14C folder. This will stop and restart the IIS server and related services. This will take approximately 5 minutes to execute. 3. Launch the CPMGRSETUP.EXE application included in the PEP CP202S03G14C folder located in the CallPilotManagerInstall directory. 4. Wait for the installation to complete 5. Register CallPilot Manager in the DMI Viewer. Launch the RUNME.EXE from the CP202S03G14C\CP202S03G14C root directory. Note: All windows not applicable to this registration process should be closed before starting this step. 6. Wait for the DMI Viewer Registration to complete. 7. Restart the CallPilot Server. Instructions for installing on a standalone Web Server: ----------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Disconnect all browsers currently connected to CallPilot Manager. 2. For servers running Microsoft IIS 4.0, run the IISPREPARE.BAT batch file included in the PEP CP202S03G14C folder. This will stop and restart the IIS server and related services. This will take approximately 5 minutes to execute. 3. Launch the CPMGRSETUP.EXE application included in the PEP CP202S03G14C folder located in the CallPilotManagerInstall directory. 4. Wait for the installation to complete. 5. Restart the Web Server. Uninstalling the CallPilot Manager: ----------------------------------- Uninstalling CallPilot Manager is a two step process: 1. To remove the PEP from DMI viewer: Go to Start>Programs>CallPilot>System Utilities>PEP Maintenance Utility. Click Show PEPs. Select CP202S03G14C, and click Remove. 2. To remove CallPilot Manager from the system: Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel. Click Add/Remove Programs. Select CallPilot Manager, and click Add/Remove.
