Installing the SU: ================== Please read this section in its entirety before proceeding. CP25006SU02S is intended to be installed on a CallPilot Server running CallPilot 2.50 software (build 02.05.06.14). Note 1: You can install both CallPilot 2.50 SU02 (CP25006SU02S) and CallPilot Manager (CP404S01G11C) on the CallPilot Server at the same time. Just follow the instructions below. Note: ----- The readme.pdf file contains step-by-step instruction on how to install both PEP CP25006SU02S and CallPilot Manager (CP404S01G11C or later) on the CallPilot Server. You can use this file or the readme.pdf file as a guide to install CallPilot 2.50 SU02 and CallPilot Manager. Note 2: While installing CallPilot Manager (PEP CP404S01G11C) on the CallPilot Server, ignore any system warnings during the installation procedure. Note 3: Ensure there is a recent backup available prior to installing this Service Update. It's always recommended that a backup be performed (or split RAID) just prior to performing any server maintenance activity to ensure the most recent customer data is available should a restore be needed. Note 4: PEPs that are in the limited or restricted status are removed during the installation of CP25006SU02S. The associated version of the limited or restricted PEP with CP25006SU02S will have to be installed once the installation of CP25006SU02S is complete. Note: From the PEP CD (NTUB43AF), copy the CP25006SU02S folder to the D:\TEMP folder. For downloads from the Enterprise Solution PEP Library (ESPL), unzip CP25006SU02S.exe to the D:\TEMP folder. The installation of CallPilot Manager should take place from the D:\TEMP folder: Note: ----- From the PEP CD (NTUB43AF), copy the CP404S01G11C folder to the D:\TEMP folder. For downloads from the Enterprise Solutions PEP Library (ESPL), unzip the CP404S01G11C.exe to the D:\TEMP folder. 1. Installing Service Update 2 Close all programs currently executed on the CallPilot server. Launch the RUNME.BAT included in the D:\TEMP\CP25006SU02S folder to start the installation. Setup will examine your system, and display a list of all individual PEPs available for installation on your server. Click "Select All" button, to select all PEPs for installation. Click [NEXT] to continue. Setup will analyze a set of installed PEPs, you will be prompted to uninstall the previous PEPs and SU. Click [OK] to proceed. 2. Wait for the installation to complete. During the installation of CP25006SU02S the AOS service will start which will cause a pop up windows to appear stating that CallPilot is booting. These windows can be closed upon appearance. You will be prompted that a reboot of the server is required. Installing CallPilot Manager on the CallPilot Server. 3. Click [No] not to reboot. 4. Disconnect all browsers currently connected to CallPilot Manager. 5. Run the RUNME.EXE file included in the PEP CP404S01G11C folder. This will stop and restart the IIS server and related services, launch the cpmgrsetup.exe to install/upgrade CallPilot Manager, start the registration of CallPilot Manager in DMI Viewer. During installing/upgrading of CallPilot Manager you will be prompted to upgrade the previous version of CallPilot Manager. Click [OK] to proceed. Wait for the installation to complete. During the registration of CallPilot Manager in DMI Viewer you will be prompted to select the PEP to be registered. Select PEP to be registered, click [OK] to start the registration. If the previous version of CallPilot Manager was registered in DMI, then you will be prompted to uninstall the previous PEP. Click [OK] to proceed. 6. Wait for the registration to complete. 7. Restart the CallPilot Server. 8. Delete the CP25006SU02S folder from D:\TEMP directory 9.
