The Add Notifier wizard walks you through the steps for adding a new gateway. In the following illustration, the Notifier polls a consolidated database and detects a change that it has been configured to look for.
You can configure the settings for the new notifier on its property sheet by right-clicking the gateway and choosing Properties from the popup menu.
You can also add a Notifier using the ml_add_property stored procedure.
The Add Notifier wizard has the following components:
What is the name of the new notifier? Type the name of the new notifier.
What is the description of the new notifier? Optionally, you can type a description of the new notifier.
