The Connection Profiles dialog lets you view and edit connection profiles (named sets of connection parameters, such as user name, password, and server name). The Connection Profiles dialog has the following components:
Connection profiles list Lists and describes all currently-defined connection profiles. To connect, select a profile and click the Connect button, or double-click the profile.
Connect Connects using the selected profile.
New Opens the New Profile dialog, which lets you create a new connection profile.
Edit Opens the Edit Connection Profile dialog, which lets you edit the selected connection profile.
Delete Deletes the selected profile. Sybase Central prompts you to continue if you click this button.
Set Startup Toggles the automatic startup option for the selected profile (the value in the Use On Startup column in the connection profiles list). When this option is turned on, the profile is automatically used each time Sybase Central is started.
