Windows provides a Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agent that runs as a service on the CallPilot server. You can configure this service so that the SNMP traps generated by the CallPilot server are directed to a Network Management System (NMS) that resides on your site network.
In the Alarm Monitor, you can define which alarms, based on severity, will generate SNMP traps. To actually generate the traps, you must configure the SNMP service on the CallPilot server.
